If this feels ‘icky’ then listen to your gut. HOWEVER, remember to treat every interviewer like they are the most important person you’ve talked with. Treat them with respect….you never want to burn bridges. Remember, people change jobs and this interviewer may take a job at another company someday….a company where you end up interviewing for a job.
